Chest Shops

You can create your own chest-shops anywhere you desire but you have to follow a certain format in order for them to work. Chest-shops are the primary trading option on the market.

Creating chest-shops is very simple to make. All you need is a sign, a chest and the item you want to sell. Parts of this tutorial can also be found at the /warp market.

Don't follow the format in the screenshot above, the sign will automatically change its text to the correct format if you follow one of the formats described below successfully.

How to make a Chest-Shop

1. Place down a chest

2. Place a sign on a chest with CROUCH + RIGHTCLICK.

3. Follow the format on the sign for one of the shop-types listed below.

4. Hit the sign with the item(s) you want to trade via LEFTCLICK.

5. Fill the chest with the item you want to sell/barter if applicable.

You can RIGHTCLICKthe sign of a shop you own to change the way it displays the item!

One Example of how to create a sell-shop

Sell items to other players

1st Line: [shop] 2nd Line: <amount> - Set how many items you are trading in one interaction. 3d Line: <price> - Set the price of 1x <amount>. 4th Line: sell

Buy items from other players

1st Line: [shop] 2nd Line: <amount> - Set how many items you are trading with in one interaction. 3d Line: <price> - Set the price of 1x <amount>. 4th Line: buy

Barter items with other players

A barter shop allows you to trade one item for another item. After creating your sign, first hit the sign with the item you want to trade in, then with the item you want to receive in return.

1st Line: [shop] 2nd Line: <amount> - Set how many items you want to trade in. 3d Line: <amount> - Set how many items you want to receive in return. 4th Line: barter

Combine a buying and selling shop into one

In a combined shop, you can both buy and sell an item for different prices. In the example below, the players sells or buys 4 of the item. When another player clicks the left side of the sign, he sells 4 of the item for 2 currency. When the player clicks the right side of the sign, he buys 4 of the item for 3 currency. Make sure to get this format right, otherwise you'll be broke very quickly through people buying and selling to this shop until you're out of money.

1st Line: [shop] 2nd Line:<amount> - Amount of the item you want to trade in one transaction. 3d Line: <buy price> <sell price>- Price you're buying the item for, Price you're selling the item for. 4th Line: combo
