Opens a GUI where you can select and listen to the different music tracks, as well as create your own playlists. Music is (more or less) alphabetically sorted in the boxes 1-5.
Opens a GUI shop where you can purchase each disk for 500$ per disk to add to your collection. These can be played in jukeboxes.
You can just place a jukebox and put in your disk as you're used to, Musicbox opens up a few more possibilities though through redstone. Here you can see a possible setup. Note that the chest does not have to stand behind the jukebox, it can stand beside or above it as well.
