The world-border is at -20.000 and +20.000. This will be changed to -25.000 and +25.000 for the first part of the 1.17 update to generate some new caves.

No, Fire tick and explosions are disabled.
Not at the moment and hopefully that won't be needed in the future either. We have several solutions for finding griefers, rolling back what they do and also rolling back inventories. Griefing on our server makes no sense as any damage they do can be reverted within seconds. Even if you logged out for a year, we can find everyone.
We do recommend you to build a reasonable distance away from other people, as we otherwise would have to move your build if the first party that settled in the area does not want you to build there. So talk to other players and ask an admin for help if needed.
There will be opportunities to apply for stuff in the discord, that will be announced when the time is right. Don't ask for staff rank, OP or anything else, that will just hurt your chances to actually become staff.
We select staff members based on their attitude, age, knowledge of mechanics on the server, helpfullness and general willingness to help and (mis-)representation of community values, that can be found in the #rules-and-roles channel in the discord.
To preserve the integrity of survival, admins will not give you information, items or currency that could disturb this ecosystem. Admins/Moderators are only allowed to retrieve items for players that can be proven to be lost to a bug or server problems, and can only sell you items they have obtained in survival themselves.
Chances are no, it won't and no, we will also not enable any dupes. They have been fixed for a reason. If you do find a dupe somehow, let us know, but dupes will never be enabled or allowed.
For some users this can happen as a side-effect of the Anti-Xray and a non-ideal internet connection. The Anti-Xray sends fake blocks to your client until those blocks get exposed to air, upon which they turn into the real block. If you don't have a good internet connection or the server has issues, these fake blocks might show up for a second or two until your client receives the real block.
